Sorry I have not taken any pics for 3 days. Below is the progress after almost 5 days on the job. The walls are up, the sheeting is on, most of the house wrap is on, the osb is on the roof then tar paper then the steel roof, the chimney is in, the front porch is on, stairs are built to the cabin, a landing out back is done, most of the holes for the wiring are drilled along with the outlet & switch boxes, the loft floor joists are in, the attic vents are in, all but 2 of the windows are in, most of the materials have been delivered.

Well we have been very busy! Most the cabin is now sided on the outside, we ran out of log siding and should be getting about 8 more sticks in today (Friday). Some of the outside cabin area's have been caulked, the lattice is on, the chimney is in, most of the facial cover is on, most of the sofftt is on. All the cabin wiring is complete. Some of the flooring is down on the main part, all the insulation is in the ceilings & walls, all the vapor barrier is on and most of the wall coverings (car siding) are on, most of the porch rail is on, a platform near the creek has been started, the Amish cupboards are being made (starter unit with cabinets & counter top & drawers) along with the shutters for the windows, a new range & ref are on the way, a water dispensor has been bought (room temp, cold or instant hot water can be drawn), the wood stove will be added shortly, a new port-a-potty will be placed soon, we hope to be finished around the 14th. or so. April 13th. 2010 we are all but done with the cabin. The cabin is unlocked, come take a look.
